EDUCATION:

Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, NY May, 1993
- Bachelor of Science, Art major with concentration in sculpture.
- Graduated Cum Laude with departmental honors in art.
- Periclean Honors Society, and pass with honors in Senior Show.

Proctor Academy, Andover, NH May, 1989
- Intensive education with a broad range of studies.
- Concentration in Photography.

SELECTED WORK EXPERIENCE:

The Fields (Art/Omi), Ghent, NY 1997-Present
-Manger and Registrar of the Sculpture park.
- Created the park from the beginning , responsible for its total construction.
-Charged with moving , installing, repairing, and restoring large scale sculpture

Manger of the International Residency(Art/Omi), Ghent, NY 1998-Present
-Charged with care of facilities and aiding artists in the technical aspects of creation.

Educational Coordinator (Art/Omi), Ghent, NY 1999-2004
-Charged with the creation of educational program that has grown to more then three hundred students a year.
-Monthly tours and workshops for the public, as well as many not-for-profit school groups.

Func Art Design Inc., Kinderhook, NY 1994 -Present
- Owner/Operator of a corporation specializing in all aspects of the arts, especially transport, installation, and repair of large scale contemporary sculpture.
-Artistic designs and commissions for functional purposes
-Installation and design of art exhibits (specializing in large scale sculpture)

The Albany Center Galleries, Albany, NY 1997-2001
-Exhibition Coordinator, and Guest Curator for six shows
-Designed and Installed more than 27 shows and worked with more than 300 artists.

Independent Curator 1996-Present
-Curated several shows independently, including Albany Center Galleries, Spencertown Academy, Fulton St., Gallery, LU-LU’s Gallery, and The Ten Broeck Mansion.

-Owner/Operator, and curator
-Retail gallery of contemporary fine arts


Spencertown Academy, Spencertown, NY 1996-1999 - Co-Curator of more than fifty contemporary art exhibits, including work by over 160 artists.
- Board member, as well as a member of Executive Committee of Not-For-Profit Arts Organization

Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, NY 1990 - 1993
- Assisted in the teaching of Prof. John Cunningham’s 3D Design and Kinetic Sculpture courses.
- Responsible for studio safety and machinery instruction and repair.

Sengo Safaris, Arusha, Tanzania Summers 1987, 1991
-Camp Manger - directed and designed the reconstruction of a remote tented safari camp, oversaw the day to day operations of the hotel-like business.
